Recreation Center

Character Building: Respect/Fairness

Our recreation center provides a safe, healthy environment for kids and teens to participate in team sports. Equipped with basketball hoops, foosball, air hockey, xbox, boardgames and weights, it serves as a place where teens and children can come together and have fun!

Whether playing basketball, football, soccer, video games or table games, sportsmanlike conduct is always encouraged... developing a sense of fairness and respect among their peers.

Boating Program

Self-Esteem Building and Mentoring: Responsibility and Trustworthiness

Through this unique program, "at-risk" teens go out to sea... they learn to fish, tie knots, and interact with each other while being mentored by role models. They also learn the value of work through cleaning and preparing the vessel for each launch. Many lives have been changed through this unique program!

Education/Tutoring- Caple Learning Center

Educating Future Leaders

Through the Caple Computer Learning Center in Fort Lauderdale, we are able to help today's youth with homework, tutoring, computer skills development in the creative arts and much more! With 15 computer stations, we are able to meet the needs of those who cannot afford to have a home computer (or service), and those who have limited access.

In addition, we provide scheduled classes using Microsoft's Unlimited Potential Curriculum to enhance the computer skills of today's youth.

Creative Arts

Developing Character

Children are encouraged to develop their creative skills using creative arts such as, sand art, drawing, crafts, interpretive dance, and storytime. Each child is given individual attention by our caring volunteer staff. In addition, each child is given a meal during regularly scheduled activities.

Skill Building

Responsibility

 Skill-building is taught through our screen-printing operation. Whether it's creating artwork, doing inventory, or silk screen printing, teens are taught the value of hard work and a unique skill.
Teenagers that volunteer or complete their community service hours through this program are always excited to see their creation on a t-shirt. What a confidence builder!!
